Chigomma for a Better Future

Education can widen a child's future prospects. Whether it is academic or vocational training, it can broaden the opportunities for a child of disadvantaged background.

By supplying uniform, learning kits and dignity kits, we empower children who would otherwise be denied access to school due to lack of funds. 

We partner with local farmers and market vendors to create a package of food staples to contribute to the family of each sponsored child. Whilst it may not last the whole month, it eases the financial burden and allows them to focus on other costs. 

By purchasing from local vendors, the money donated flows back into the community.

For each public school that we partner with, we hope to partner with an independent school. 

Our aim is to foster cultural and social enrichment. By integrating young people from different backgrounds, we inspire considerate and open-minded individuals.

Our workshops bring inspirational individuals from the local community to inspire young people by discussing their various professions and exposing them to various career paths. 

From nurses to engineers, hospitality staff and entrepreneurs to software developers, our young people can be more focused when they have a goal in mind.

We engage them in goal-setting exercises and interactive discussions so they can take responsibility in designing their future. 

We need volunteers to help us run our programs effectively. Whether it's event planning or administrative tasks, your support can help us achieve our goals.

Children are the centre and the focus of our organisation's projects but we can only do what we can afford to do. 

We rely solely on the efforts of our volunteers and the donations from the public.
