Small beginnings:
Our first outreach was distributing food to street-dwelling families. In the future, we want to have a longer-lasting impact in our communities.
We want to offer children hope, education, dignity and a positive future. We have chosen not to publish the faces of our beneficiaries (unless they expressly wish to be published) to offer more dignity in our work.
Education is powerful. However, some families face financial barriers to sending their children to school. By tackling these barriers, we open opportunities for learning, friendships and nurturing confidence.
Some disadvantaged families are pressured to choose between survival and sending their children to school. By offering food packages, we mitigate the costs of feeding their loved ones so they can begin to focus on thriving instead of surviving.
Across the world in developing countries, vast modern cities see affluent developments sitting next to informal settlements.
Low-income workers are pushed to live in unsafe and unsanitary housing due to the financial pressures in order to provide for themselves and their families. For some, education becomes a luxury rather than a necessity or basic human right.
